About

"She innovates new processes, communicates at every level of a company, creates and influences positive cultural change, fosters strong relationships, and thinks broadly about the good of the company and the good that the company can do."

- senior director of documentation

"I cannot recommend Lauree highly enough, she is a fantastic leader and knew how to drive the team to self organize but also when to step in and provide guidance when needed. Because of this, we had a very successful team and delivered successfully and on time routinely. ...she made the team feel valued and really took time and effort to make sure we were healthy and happy as people, not just good employees."

- senior engineer, technical lead

"Lauree was able to highlight some of the critical issues keeping [us] from meeting our goals of a more diverse, effective and high-performing company and championed processes, tools, teams, and whole new roles at the company."

- senior manager of pmo

Hi! I'm Lauree Akhtar, Internal Community Coach

Who I Am

I'm Lauree. I'm a highly varied generalist, with a background in game development, political science, software program management, DEIB leadership, Agile coaching, and a Master's of Social Work (with the clinical therapy experience) to top it off.

My passion is to help people build lives worth living. My specialty is your workplace.

Workplace communities are special to me. The communities I've been a part of at work have not just become my dearest friends -- they've saved my life.

Building community among employees and colleagues is important. It generates an effective company. It helps people live better, happier lives.

It's powerful. Knowing that being able to connect a workplace together can be a pivotal part of your employee's lives. My deepest wish is to help you harness that power.
